Liveaboard diving at Similan & Surin Islands

The Atlantis X (10) is Phuket's newest ³new generation² dive boat offering a high level of comfort, private bathrooms in each cabin, and selling at a very attractive price. She is 80 foot (24 meters) in length and her beam is 22 feet (6.6 meters). Built originally in 1995, she has recently completed a three-month major refit, transforming her into a world-class dive vessel.

There are now a total of eight en suite, air-conditioned cabins, with separate crew quarters, making the boat one of the most comfortable in the Andaman Sea. New individually controlled air conditioners were installed in each cabin and in the common areas. She is diesel-powered and has generators providing 220-volt power. When a group charters the entire vessel, she can accommodate special requests and itineraries. She is the perfect vessel for business meetings and seminars.  Built for Comfort and Style The Atlantis X has eight private, carpeted staterooms, with a double or twin bunk and a private bath with toilet and plenty of hot water. All the cabins have panoramic windows and feature personal vanities. Staterooms are cleaned daily and all linens are changed throughout your stay. For entertainment, the Atlantis X boasts a 27" super VHS/PAL television, CD, tape player, and a large dedicated battery charging area for photographers. We have a library of CDs, videos and books available for guests, and you're welcome to bring your own as well. Abundant seating and comfortable couches make the dining area a natural gathering place. The dining areas' comfortable seating arrangement and presentation equipment make it a great room for lectures and meetings. Built for Diving Most diving is done from the mother ship, and we pick up divers on the surface using our fast inflatable dinghies, eliminating the long swim back to the boat. Atlantis X's large dive platform is at water level with two 9-foot ladders extending underwater for easy exit. The platform has twin freshwater showers for that refreshing after-dive body and equipment rinse. Just four steps up from the platform is the spacious dive deck with its camera rinse tank, individual dive lockers and three-tiered, carpeted camera table. This deck features a non-skid surface for your safety. Only one tank is needed per diver, as our on board compressors fill your tanks between dives. Our capable crew handles any carrying of dive tanks. A full line of rental scuba gear and underwater camera equipment is available on board. Plenty of Sun and Shade A few steps up from the dive deck is the sun deck, a large partially shaded, carpeted, deck with wet bar and lounge area. The deck furniture is comfortable and plentiful. Just bring a good sunscreen and wide brimmed hat for protection from the equatorial sun. The BBQ area, also located on the upper deck, is the perfect place to photograph our beautiful sunsets and to enjoy our comfortable tropical climate.
