In
your cabin you will find our safety folder with information on what to do in
a case of emergency.
All divers will be asked to show proof of
dive certification, sign-in the trip roster sheet and asked to complete a
diver release form.
Please print out the review our policies and rules prior to diving.
All
divers are required to have a pony bottle or alternate air source on all
dives. All divers are
required to have:
- depth and submersible pressure gauge (SPG-tank air pressure)
- bottom timer and/or dive computer
- alternate air source (octopus) or pony bottle
- buoyancy compensator
- DAN Dive insurance or similar type of in-the-water dive insurance. All
dives will be planned to the no decompression limits for air, unless
previously approved by the captain in advance. Any planned decompression
dives will require each diver to complete a dive plan with dive time in and
out (total run-time), planned decompression, gases used and Surface
Interval. Illegal substances and
drugs will not be allowed!
Violators will be reported to authorities.
Drinking alcohol before diving is not allowed.
Dive
locations will vary in depth from 60ft to 130ft
(The current recreational depth range. )
Destinations are not guaranteed and may vary
with the charter choice or decision of the captain. Scheduled boat
destinations can be changed based on weather/sea conditions or
collective group choice.
Scuba diving is an adventure sport with
inherent risks subject to the training, abilities, health and experience of
the diver. It is the divers responsibility to act in accordance with those
skills when determining their ability to dive on any given charter. Captain
his crew or the Atlantis liveaboard boats cannot be held liable for said
divers lack of proper planning, training, health or experience.
Additional Rules and Conditions are posted
aboard Atlantis liveaboard boats and are available upon request. In
addition customers and divers are held accountable for all USCG mandated
rules and regulations while aboard Atlantis liveaboard boats and will be
expected to abide by posted boat rules and observe all USCG safety
regulations at all times.
All
decisions and judgments of Captain or tour leader are final.
