What's normally included in the price?
Liveaboard
trip prices always include accommodation on board,
all meals, most drinks (drinking water, coffee,
tea, etc.), divemaster services, tanks, weights,
belts, air, and 3-4 dives per day. We also include
hotel transfers from Patong Beach, Kata Beach,
and Karon Beach. For more information, please
visit the specific boat's web pages, or email
us for more specific information.
Equipment rental is not included in the above
prices as this would be unfair to those who have
purchased their own gear. Prices for rental equipment
are as follows:
BCD: 250 THB per day
Reg with gauges: 250 THB per day
Wetsuit (3 mm shorty): 150 THB per day
Mask and Snorkel: 75 THB per day
Fins (Full-foot style): 75 THB per day
Computer (wrist model): 250 THB per day (not always
available)
Torches: Usually free of charge, please check
Notes on tanks: Most boats use standard US-style
aluminum cylinders, 12 liter (80 cf) with K-valves
for use with yoke-type regulators. DIN adaptors
are available, please ask. Nitrox tanks often
have DIN fittings.
Finally, Thailand has a national park fee of 200
THB per person, and 200 THB per day which is payable
in cash to the authorities upon arrival. This
is not included in the price. For example, a four-day
trip would be 1,000 baht per person. Burma also
charges a fee for entry, this one in USD. Please
email us if you have any questions about these
charges. These are clearly explained on the itinerary
pages of each of the boats.
